Having a dream is important, but it’s unlikely to ever become reality without action.
And, if you’re going to take action you need to understand what needs to be done, and in which order – prioritising these actions.
However, without setting timeframes – deadlines – for these priorities, they run the risk of being ignored, and for the dream remaining just that. You need to set the deadline if the dream is to become a goal, as Napoleon Hill said.
So, have a dream, break down the steps necessary to reach it, set timeframes to achieve each step and then embark on the first. That is how your dream can become a reality.
Oh, and be prepared to give yourself a break. Life has a habit of getting in the way, so if you miss the timeframe for a step, reassign the deadlines for that step and the successive ones and keep moving ahead.
You’ll reach your goal!
