I guess we’ve all been guilty of this at some point – tacking the symptoms of a problem rather than the cause.

Often this is because it’s quick and easy, and we feel we’re taking action, but it really isn’t the best approach because it doesn’t address the reason for the problem.

When facing problems in your business, don’t go straight on the offensive with the symptoms – understand what the underlying cause is and tackle that. It might take a little longer, but will save you a great deal of time, frustration and money in the long run.
